The Sr Financial Analyst I - Corporate Functions position is responsible for enterprise-wide financial deliverables and analysis across Ecolab’s corporate functions. This role supports corporate initiatives and maintains strong financial and accounting controls.

This position reports to the Corporate Functions Finance Manager for FP&A and control and is based in Buenos Aires.

What You Will Do
  • Understand corporate function forecasting, accounting, and planning to standardize and optimize processes.
  • Support process improvements to drive enterprise growth by supporting strategic projects, providing data-driven insights, and recommendations to finance and leadership.
  • Analyze monthly financial results; research, explain variances, execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and tracking G&A spend to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes and controls.
  • Support the global function’s annual planning and improve reporting for operating expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Track cross-functional financial metrics and deliver key monthly reports to internal partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience with SAP, EPM, Excel, and large datasets.
  • Ability to drive change and standardize processes.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong financial acumen, with a background in US GAAP accounting.
  • Strong systems, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to develop financial models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate matrix organizations and stakeholders.
  • Potential for growth beyond the current role.
