Who are we looking for?

Our client is seeking an experienced NHT/CCR Process Optimization Consultant to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) organization under the Downstream Operation Engineering Solutions Department (OESD). The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical mind and a proven track record of optimizing NHT and CCR processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. A Master's Degree or PhD is preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 10 years of hands-on technical experience in NHT and CCR optimization within a refinery environment.
  • Strong technical background in process engineering fundamentals, including reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass and energy balances.
  • Proficiency in leading process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
  • Demonstrated technical experience in applying process optimization techniques and statistical data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A proven track record of applying technical expertise to drive optimization and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of clients' NHT and CCR units.
  • Apply technical expertise to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients' process engineering teams.
  • Lead technical benchmarking initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver targeted technical training programs.
  • Guide clients in selecting and implementing advanced process simulation tools.
  • Provide expert technical advice on catalyst management strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical advancements.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients.
