OverviewBackend developer position at Cheesecake Labs focusing on Node.js solutions and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality applications. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend solutions using Node.js Interact with other teams and professionals, including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders Ensure the application provides a great user experience Assist in the creation and implementation of mockups Build Docker images that can run on AWS or other PaaS platforms Model databases using MySQL, Postgres, and DynamoDB Write clean, readable, and scalable code Ensure the application solves real-world problems Review the code of other developers Understand partner needs and propose solutions Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings Build estimates and plan roadmaps QualificationsExperience with RESTful backend applications, especially built with Node.js Experience with deployment processes (Docker, CircleCI, AWS, Heroku) Experience with Git Experience with different databases Experience with UNIX systems and terminal usage Open to working on frontend development Knowledge of clean code and design patterns Customer-centric mindset and strong client-facing experience Self-taught and up-to-date with the latest backend news and technologies English proficiency; good communication skills, both verbal and written Applicants must have a Brazilian bank account, be legally allowed to provide services to a Brazilian entity, and be willing to receive in Brazilian local currency (Real R$) Additional informationThe communication during the selection process is done by email.
