The professional will collaborate closely with development, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to implement best practices and efficient solutions. Database expertise in managing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch, Cassandra), with strong knowledge of database design and architecture principles. Ensure database security, manage user access control, and comply with data privacy regulations like LGPD. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and facilitate cross-team collaboration. Take ownership of database performance tuning, scaling strategies, and resource optimization to ensure efficient operations. Deep understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS, and their integration with database services. Ensure database systems are fully integrated into the platform's infrastructure. Develop and manage robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. Collaborate with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate databases into applications and services. Contribute to a culture of agile development and continuous delivery, exploring new technologies and best practices for database management. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to track database performance, capacity, and costs. Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience in managing high-performance, scalable databases. Practical experience with Postgres, Oracle, ElasticSearch, Cassandra. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic environments. Effective communication and collaboration skills across multifunctional teams. Proven technical leadership and mentoring abilities. Ability to learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies. English or Spanish skills are a plus. Benefits Competitive, market-aligned salary.
