Product Specification Writer

Join us.Analyze customer specification forms and generate all necessary documentation for Manufacturing including meter specification, bill of materials and customer record aids. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented. Implements and maintains a Change Control Order System. These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development.Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Enter and maintain part numbers, bills of material, and routings in Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS - Item Master- Write and process Change Control Orders (CCOs) while gaining a working knowledge of Oracle Cloud or other tools used to process CCOs- Review customer specification forms to ensure product combinations are available as requested- Generate Bills of Material associated with customer part numbers- Generate customer record aids while acquiring a working knowledge of the customer record aids database- Upload customer configuration files for customer specifications. Communicate with marketing/engineering related to customer and/or sales requests and/or new products to ensure combinations and functionality are available.- Maintain documents and files associated with customer and/or sales requests- Read, generate and proof prints and specifications for distribution to manufacturingRequired Skills & Experience:- This position requires 0-1 years of previous related professional experience- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience.- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.LI-MC3Itron enables utilities and cities to safely, securely and reliably deliver critical infrastructure solutions.
