About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to design, develop, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade data integration and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. In this role, you will lead technical decision-making, mentor team members, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of data integration pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Oversee ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
  • Utilize AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and DMS for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to define requirements and optimize data models.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering,
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS, etc.).
  • Experience in a lead role.
  • Proven track record in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
  • Fluent English

Location: Remote (preferably based in São Leopoldo/RS or Porto Alegre/RS region)
