Job Description and Responsibilities

Administrative Assistant I (Republication)

Under immediate supervision, performs administrative support and clerical functions.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support and Clerical Functions
  • Records all incoming and outgoing communications
  • Types confidential correspondence, reports and other documents
  • Maintains and updates official files
  • Answers and makes telephone calls
  • Interviews and screens persons seeking assistance from the Head Office
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned from time to time
  • Property Management
  • Assists in the conduct of physical inventory of supplies and properties
  • Updates property records in PREMIS
  • Encodes and files communications related to the functions of the section
  • Assists in the delivery of service of the section
  • Job Outputs
  • Letters/Memoranda/Notice of Meetings

  • Organized files/records
  • Other reports as may be required
