Overview Senior/Mid Software Engineer role at Brick Abode. We are a software development company that serves clients from multiple countries, with differing technological needs. We value a strong computer science base, autonomy, and the ability to connect technology with business needs. Our team is Brazil and USA-based, and most communication is in English. The position is fully remote. Responsibilities Work across technology and business contexts in fast-paced environments. Communicate with clients as needed and stay aligned with business objectives. Embrace learning and tackle challenging projects outside comfort zones. What we are looking for 1 proactive Mid/Senior professional who can navigate between technology and business contexts with ease. Strong communication skills and ability to work in an English-speaking environment. Experience with Java, service/server development, and the Spring framework. Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience with Web development and REST API. Docker expertise. Academic background (MSc or PhD) is a plus. Fluent or advanced English. Familiarity with Azure Entra ID or understanding of web security is a plus. Contract details As Contractor (PJ): competitive compensation (in Reais - R$). Work with international clients and international standards. Opportunity to grow as a leader and move between teams. Speak in English with coworkers. 2 weeks of paid leave per year, national holidays, paid parental leave, paid marriage leave. All expenses paid for training, conferences, and online courses.
