Product Manager, LATAM (Miami or San Francisco) role at Airbnb. The Community You Will Join: Our Product Marketing team imagines the ideal experience for our community and works backwards, creating innovative products that delight our guests and hosts. They partner with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into a product strategy and execute with attention to detail and clear communication. The Difference You Will Make: The International Product Marketing team is part of the Worldwide Product Marketing team. This role will help build out the new functional area outside of the US and will be instrumental in shaping the organization as it evolves. The cross-functional model requires collaboration across multiple teams worldwide. As the Product Manager based in LATAM, you will report to the Product Marketing Director for International Markets and steer product features, capabilities and marketing strategies informed by regional user insights and travel-market knowledge. You will collaborate with global and local teams to develop partnerships, drive feature releases and pilots, and communicate product narratives both internally and externally. A Typical Day
- Build deep expertise on Airbnb in your market/region through user research, marketplace data, and competitive understanding; synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into a cohesive product story.
- Articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb products and new businesses in your market/region.
- Implement best-in-class product development and management practices, including go-to-market kits and information packs for local teams, in collaboration with central and local teams.
- Maintain and articulate a product feature and roadmap prioritization plan with local teams.
- Advocate for and execute new products that deliver impact for the business and users.
- Communicate concisely and influence outcomes across all levels of the company, including country and regional executive teams.
- Drive alignment across product teams (Technology, Design) and cross-functional partners (Business, Supply, FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Support, Trust, etc.) for wider roll-out or test-and-learn pilots.
- Define goals and measurable objectives (OKRs) for your area.
- Build and integrate partnerships in your country/region to expand existing businesses and build new ones.
- Navigate regulatory and government requirements in partnership with Policy/Communications and regions/markets.
- Craft product narratives and marketing strategies that communicate benefits and features in collaboration with comms and cross-functional partners.
- Develop and deliver engaging product demos to press, highlighting key features and functionalities.
- 10-15 years of product management experience.
- Demonstrated track record of product leadership.
- Comfortable with individual contributor product management work.
- Experience building and scaling global consumer products and ecosystems that people love.
- Experience creating product messaging and delivering to customers and the media.
- Entrepreneurial track record; startup experience a plus while capable of operating in a larger organization.
- Ability to use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy/decisions.
- Ability to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly collaborative and results-oriented; able to travel frequently (30-35%).
- Fluency in English and at least one other local language (Spanish or Portuguese).
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in San Francisco or Miami. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager.
