Job DescriptionPyyne is seeking a WordPress Developer with strong PHP skills and a deep understanding of the WordPress engine to work with a large US-based client out of our Brazilian office. The successful candidate will help us migrate and modernize the client’s public-facing site. This role goes beyond admin work — you'll be the go-to technical expert for how content is structured and delivered, and you'll collaborate closely with agency partners during our theme migration. What You’ll DoMigrate our legacy WordPress site to a modern Gutenberg block-based experience using a custom theme Serve as the technical lead on backend WordPress matters — helping guide decisions and troubleshoot issues during the migration Support, manage, and secure the production WordPress environment Build and deploy new sections and improve performance via caching and backend optimization Implement and configure editor-friendly plugins — no plugin development or WooCommerce Integrate Zendesk Live Chat and build tools to extract support data Set up MixPanel event tracking and instrument Gravity Forms appropriately What You BringFluent English, written and spoken Strong backend development experience with WordPress and PHP — you understand the core engine, content workflows, and template architecture Ability to answer detailed technical questions from agency partners during the migration process Experience optimizing WordPress performance and security Familiarity with third-party integrations (e.g., Zendesk, Gravity Forms) and event tracking tools (e.g., MixPanel) Comfortable managing day-to-day updates and keeping progress moving independently BenefitsSalary Range from 18,000 - 24,000 Flexible remote working environment Career development opportunities in a fast-growing company Seniority levelMid-Senior level Employment typeFull-time Job functionEngineering and Information Technology IndustriesTechnology, Information and Internet Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Braintrust by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
