Not only do we deliver breakthrough medications, but you also can count on us to develop creative solutions to support communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.The Clinical Research Physician (CRP) / Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) - Oncology is a therapeutically aligned scientist who plays a key role within the Medical Affairs organization. The primary focus of the CRP /CRS is to use their knowledge of the Oncology area, available treatments, and investigational compounds to co-lead strategic and tactical planning with a cross-functional team. The CRP / CRS is an important member of the cross-functional team, working with commercial and market access teams, participating and presenting at meetings with government regulatory agencies, and contributing to pricing, reimbursement, and medical education strategies. The CRP / CRS also interacts with government agencies as needed, leads local scientific data dissemination, presents at conferences and advisory boards, and oversees the development of scientific content for educational programs. This is an office-based position.**Responsibilities**:- Co-lead strategic and tactical planning and implementation for the Oncology Therapeutic Area (TA).- Collaborate in internal training.- Lead the planning and implementation of medical education strategy, data generation (including Real-World Evidence), and scientific disclosure.- Deliver scientific, educational, and promotional presentations.- Maintain collaboration with relevant scientific experts in the area.- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant professional societies.- Lead the medical team in the therapeutic area.**Basic Qualifications**:- ** CRP**: Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization or experience in Oncology. A Master's and/or PhD is considered a plus.- ** CRS**: An advanced health/medical/scientific (for example, in Pharmacology, physiology, microbiology) or related graduate degree such as DVM, PharmD, PhD, MSN with 3-5 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.- English proficiency (advanced or fluent) for reading, writing, and conversation.- Residence in São Paulo/SP (office-based position).- Previous experience in medical affairs within a pharmaceutical company (experience in Oncology is a plus).Additional Skills/Preferences:- Advanced interpersonal, communication, teamwork, project management, and presentation skills.- Commercial/business acumen and contribution.- Ability to translate scientific data into meaningful, clear, and compliant content for customer communications and engagement.- Ability to effectively partner across multiple functions.- Ability to manage and prioritize broad deliverables of a complex nature.- Leadership skills to manage the direct team.Lilly does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.WeAreLilly
