Reporting Coordinator will facilitate developing, implementing, and managing Power BI solutions to translate business needs into actionable insights. This includes creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, as well as providing technical support. The coordinator also collaborates with stakeholders, ensuring data quality, and maintaining the Power BI environment.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security within the Power BI environment.
- Monitoring the performance of reports and dashboards, identifying areas for improvement.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for Power BI solutions, including report specifications and technical designs.
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven initiatives.
- Analyzing datasets to uncover patterns and insights then translating them into actionable recommendations.
- Creating and maintaining standardized documentation for processes, reports, and data models.
- Ability to train end users in Power BI reports.
- Proactively communicate with team to ensure alignment of progress tracking and quality.
- This position will not access Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.
Qualifications Expected for Position:
- Expertise in Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power BI Service, experience with querying tools and other related tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques.
- Capacity to anticipate internal/external customers' needs and place customers at the center of thinking and actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and users.
- Understands needs and expectations, evaluates information, uses experience in forming opinions, evaluates the benefits of alternative solutions and their impact to determine the most appropriate course of actions to achieve goals.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Understanding of data governance principles and the ability to maintain data security and compliance.
- The ability to meet deadlines by recognizing the best use of time and working with end results very clearly in mind.
- Attention to detail and ability to precisely follow documented work instructions.
- 2-4 years working experience in a data operations role.
- Previous Power BI reporting and/or Power BI reporting support experience a plus
Rate: $6/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
