My client, SGK – a global brand and content production agency is looking for:

Professional in the areas of Design, Artwork, Packaging, Prepress, Print Production or Client Service with experience in packaging artwork development with knowledge of artwork production, pre-press and multiple print processes.Project management skills, excellent organization, time management, friendly with technological platforms such as Web Center, working as a team, detailed tracking of process phases of each art, internal client management: marketing and management of project monitoring with agencies, management of Excel and Power Point sheets.Kind, with a good attitude, proactive, resolves on his own, makes sure of the information and reviews it several times on his own or with the source of origin of the information. Maintain daily project statuses, monitor delivery times, and help ensure they are completed on time.VERY important that they know the packaging arts process for printing, we must emphasize correct decision making, agility and very good organization. Good, accurate and reliable decision making.Good judgment and discretion.Respect levels of hierarchy in the organization (client), be respectful and follow instructions of the position.

This is not a creative position, you will not develop the design or artwork. Be mindful that you will only supervise specific requests.

ResponsibilitiesActively facilitate and manage project deliverables and information for all tasks related to artwork completion. This includes obtaining all administrative codes and MIS information from SAP, PLM and Webcenter systems.Proactively try to obtain any project information missing from client cross-functional teamsAssist with the development of project timelines and assign approval teams.Upload all project data and due dates into client-designated workflow tool, Webcenter.Maintain project status reports, and participate in project status/planning meetingsAs required, act as central project leader between client cross-functional teams, design agency, and Pre press SuppliersManage client lead-time expectation for artwork, prepress and eCommerce imagery on-time deliveryParticipate in design review meetings with client Regional cross-functional teams, design agency, and Pre press SuppliersRoute all artwork submits from Design & Pre press Suppliers facility for client approval using client-designated workflow tool, WebcenterParticipate in post-production meetings to review completed packaging projectsThis Function Reports to: Department Manager – Functional

Necessary Skills:Must become a team player with great project management skillsA positive, proactive and flexible attitudeStrong (firm) and professional under pressureConfidence building through consistent attention to detail and good judgmentComprehensive understanding of artwork workflow and processesAbility to work across areas (cross-functional leadership), negotiate timelines, and hold others accountable for their deliverables (governance)Good Judgment request advice and direction when neededAbility to deal with ambiguity,Client service, quality control, sense of urgency and critical thinking

Qualifications5 plus, years retail packaging design or print production experienceBachelor’s degree (design, graphic communications or print technologies)Strong business application skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel (Microsoft Package)English to attend global meetings and conversations (advanced)Spanish (basic-intermediate)
