IB Coordinator

Overview IB Coordinator – Avalon Evolutive School Avalon Evolutive School is seeking an IB Coordinator to lead the implementation and development of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and to prepare the Middle School (Fundamental II) for IB alignment. This professional will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the principles and standards of the IB, coordinating curricular and assessment planning with the teaching team, supporting teachers’ professional growth, and serving as the main liaison between the school, the school community, and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The coordinator should demonstrate a broad pedagogical vision, strong communication skills, and collaborative leadership, ensuring that the IB philosophy — centered on an international, inquiry-based, and humanistic education — is reflected in all Avalon practices. Responsibilities Ensure alignment with IB principles and standards across curricula and assessment planning. Coordinate curricular and assessment planning with the teaching team. Support teachers’ professional growth and development. Serve as the main liaison between the school, the school community, and the IBO. Lead implementation and development of the IB Diploma Programme and IB alignment for Middle School. Qualifications Experience in IB programs or equivalent international education with a strong understanding of IB standards. Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
