Sourcing Specialist Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Brazil. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing supplier relationships to bring innovative products to market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard suppliers across fashion, beauty, and cosmetics categories.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing for competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with design, merchandising, and product development teams to ensure seamless supply chain management.
  • Conduct market analysis for trends, opportunities, and potential risks to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes from supplier selection to product delivery, optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sourcing, procurement, or buying within fashion, beauty, or cosmetics.
  • Strong supplier network and market knowledge in Brazil and LATAM.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese and/or Spanish a plus, with excellent language skills to facilitate global communication.
  • Analytical skills balancing creativity and commercial thinking to drive informed sourcing decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
