Job Overview We are seeking a skilled professional to support a large-scale payroll transformation program, which aims to integrate Workday and ADP payroll systems. About the Role The consultant will be responsible for validating end-to-end payroll processing across Workday and ADP, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with payroll rules, and a smooth transition to the new payroll landscape. Main Responsibilities The successful candidate will plan, design, and execute test cases for Workday-to-ADP payroll integrations, including end-to-end payroll cycles. They will validate payroll processing results, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and gross-to-net calculations across ADP platforms. The professional will review and validate data mapping and transformations between Workday and ADP, as well as test inbound and outbound interface files between the two systems. They will execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll-related processes. Additionally, they will log, track, and document defects using client-approved tools, collaborating with technical and functional teams to drive timely resolution. The consultant will also support parallel payroll testing cycles by comparing legacy and new payroll results, identifying and analyzing variances. They will work closely with Workday configuration teams, ADP SMEs, payroll operations, and project managers to clarify requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. Furthermore, they will develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, scripts, scenarios, and status reports. The professional will contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and templates for payroll transformation projects. Key Requirements Strong hands-on experience testing ADP payroll solutions is essential. A deep understanding of gross-to-net calculations is required. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in HR, Payroll, and IT is necessary.
