Mission

As a DevOps/Infrastructure team member, your primary mission will be to help ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective, supporting the company’s rapid growth and evolving needs. You will play a critical role in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning, helping shape our platform\'s future.

• Infrastructure Scaling and Stability: Contribute to the continuous scaling of our infrastructure to handle increasing loads while maintaining stability and performance. This includes designing and implementing robust and scalable architectures, automating deployment processes, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Optimize infrastructure and applications to ensure low-latency, high-throughput operation, particularly for video and audio processing.
• Cost Management: Implement strategies to optimize infrastructure costs without compromising performance. Rightsize resources, automate scaling policies, and leverage cloud provider cost-saving mechanisms.
• Enhancing Observability: Improve monitoring and observability capabilities, developing dashboards, alerts, and logs that provide actionable insights for the engineering team.
• Collaboration and Support: Work with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and applications, fostering shared responsibility for reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Contribute to security and compliance by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with industry standards.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies and proactively suggest and implement improvements. Experiment with new tools and methodologies to drive innovation within the team.

We seek a highly skilled DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for building scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure. You should have a strong background in managing complex environments across cloud providers and bare-metal servers and be comfortable working in high-performance environments, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact the system.

• Kubernetes Mastery : Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Multi-Cloud and Bare Metal Expertise : Deep understanding of at least one primary cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience managing infrastructure on bare-metal servers. Familiar with each environment’s challenges and opportunities.
• Infrastructure at Scale : Ability to architect and manage infrastructure that can scale horizontally and vertically, with distributed systems, load balancing, and automated scaling.
• Cost Optimization & Resource Management : Proficient in monitoring resource usage, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Programming and Automation : Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Monitoring and Observability : Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack or similar).
• Problem-Solving Mindset : Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Collaboration and Communication : Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

• Experience with Media Processing : Familiarity with video/audio processing, streaming, or related technologies.
• Familiarity with Node.js in scale environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and deploy cloud-native systems on AWS, at scale.
• Own Kubernetes clusters: architecture, automation, observability, performance tuning.
• Build Terraform modules and GitOps pipelines to streamline deployments.
• Create fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines for production releases.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and security with appropriate tools.
• Aim for 99.99% uptime across billions of transactions per year.
• Collaborate with product engineers, security, and leadership to accelerate growth.
• Mentor teammates, review PRs, and help define best practices as we scale.

You Should Have:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven track record with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP).
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Linux, containers, networking, and cloud-native security.
• Ability to scale systems for high-volume, high-availability workloads.
• Hands-on scripting/coding: Python, Go, or Bash.
• Automation-focused mindset; startup or growth-stage experience is a plus.
• Excellent async communication skills.

Bonus Points If You’ve:

• Built infrastructure for AI/ML systems, SaaS, or telco-scale apps.
• Used tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Vault, Elastic Stack, or EKS.
• Led technical teams or mentored junior engineers.
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, or Azure Admin.
