As the **Head of Sales and Marketing**, you will drive revenue and growth by leading both sales and marketing efforts for our digital agency. You will be hands-on in optimizing sales processes, building strategies on how to generate leads, building partnerships, and managing a high-performing team. With a proven track record in business development within the tech industry, you will work directly with C-level executives, key stakeholders, and decision-makers to help Five Jars reach its business goals and shape its future direction.**Key Responsibilities include such areas**:- Team Management & Leadership Sales- Sales- Marketing- Strategic Partnerships & External Relations- Budgeting and Financial AnalysisMore details \uD83D\uDC47**Team Management & Leadership**:- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.- Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.- Set clear targets for the team, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure goals are exceeded.- Build a development roadmap to support team members' growth, ensuring they have the resources and support to succeed.- Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and performance across sales and marketing functions.**Sales**:- Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives prospecting, lead generation, and deal closing, fully aligned with company objectives.- Utilize tools and outbound strategies to identify high-quality leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.- Drive direct sales efforts, including leading the team in proposal pitching and deal closing.- Oversee the sales team and processes from lead generation to negotiation and closing.- Continuously optimize sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.**Marketing**:- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive strategies that drive both brand awareness and customer acquisition.- Manage the agency's online presence, including the website, social media channels, etc.- Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels, events, and trade shows, ensuring alignment with sales efforts.- Guide the creation of engaging content that clearly communicates the company’s value proposition.- Lead the company’s participation at industry events, maximizing visibility and aligning event strategy with business goals.**Strategic Partnerships & External Relations**:- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and vendors to create new business opportunities.- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.- Represent the company at industry events (travelling to the USA is required) and trade shows, building a network of contacts that enhance visibility and drive growth.**Budgeting and Financial Analysis**:- Create and maintain a department budget, forecast, and other reports.- Conduct regular financial analysis to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.- Make data-driven decisions to improve ROI on marketing initiatives.**Requirements**:- ** 5+ years **of experience in business development, with a focus on _sales_ experience, and supporting _marketing_ activities.- Based in European timezone, with the ability to travel abroad, **USA in particular** (American visa is a very preferred, but we can help with opening one).- Previous experience working within a **software development environment **(software development agency, IT outsourcing company, web-development agency, design agency)- Fluency in spoken and written English (**C1 level **or a confident B2 level)- Demonstrated success in solo sales within service-based tech B2B companies.- Proven experience managing sales and marketing teams- Proven expertise in sales process optimization, lead generation, and campaign management.- Strong background in working directly with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.- Experience participating in industry events and trade shows as an exhibitor.- Technical understanding of web and mobile technologies.- Results-oriented, with strong business awareness and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.- Confident decision-maker with proven leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.**Selection process**:- Screening interview with TA Specialist (45 min)- Qualification interview with COO (60 min)- Final interview with CEO (60 min)- (optional) Additional Focus interview with C-level (60 min)- References check- Offer**We offer**:- 100% remote work- Flexible schedule and 7-hour working day- A dynamic IT company in web-development environment- Regular business tips and conferences- Flexibility in making decisions, contribution to company's strategy- Professional growth, performance and salary reviews- Benefits such as vacation, sick leaves, days
