We are BCG X Delivery, a team that bridges technology and strategy, collaborating with consulting teams on international projects to advance software development insights and project execution.

What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with consulting teams to address diverse technological challenges.
  • Apply software development methodologies to add value to BCG's Consulting & BCG X teams and Practice Areas.
  • Contribute to projects with opportunities to showcase your skills and make an impact across BCG and client work.

Technical Skills - Knowledge And Experience
  • Coding Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Rust, C#, etc.; experience with multiple languages preferred.
  • Web Development: Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular). Demonstrated projects or work experience helpful.
  • API Development: Experience creating APIs using REST or GraphQL.
  • Cloud Computing: Familiar with AWS, Azure, GCP; capable of deployment on these platforms.
  • Database Management: Relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, Redis).

Additional Skills

  • Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or similar systems.
  • Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Tech curiosity with exposure to AR/VR, IoT, AI, Blockchain.
  • Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
Job Requirements
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience (graduation by December 2025 or earlier).
  • 6+ months of relevant internship or equivalent work experience.

  • Software Development: Experience in developing, testing, and deploying robust software with examples of past projects.
  • Full Lifecycle Experience: Involvement in the full software development lifecycle from idea to deployment.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Experience optimizing software for performance and efficiency.
  • Dynamic Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment; client interaction experience is a plus.
  • Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work in teams and co-develop solutions.
