Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Remote, Brazil Region – Resource will be supporting in PST working hours Employment Type: Fulltime Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Application Developer with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Flyway, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. This role requires hands-on experience with modern cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments. Key Responsibilities: 10+ years experience in Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks. Architect, implement, and deploy scalable applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Utilize Flyway for database version control and migration management. Apply best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Dev Ops, QA, and data engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications using observability tools such as Splunk and New Relic. Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and technology selection processes. Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives through high-quality data solutions. Required Qualifications: Proven hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions. Hands-on experience with Flyway for database migrations and version control. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Technical Skills: Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA Version Control & CI/CD: Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, JIRA Databases: Mongo DB, Azure SQL, Postgre SQL Development Tools: Eclipse, Intelli J IDEA Monitoring Tools: Splunk, New Relic Database Migration: Flyway Testing Frameworks: JUnit, Test NG, Cucumber Preferred Attributes: Experience working in agile software development environments. Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and performance tuning. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles.
