Golang Software Engineer

Position Overview You will be part of an international team, leading the development of 1GLOBAL’s entitlement server platform. The role involves designing and implementing new services, maintaining existing components, and testing applications on a multi‑site platform that supports millions of subscriber profiles worldwide. You’ll collaborate with remote teammates, follow strict security and Agile methodologies, and have an opportunity to work in São Paulo, Brazil, with onboarding and training in Lisbon, Portugal. Fluency in English is essential. Key Responsibilities Develop high‑impact features and contribute to the architecture design, focusing on resilience, scalability, security, and fault tolerance. Advocate for high code quality, readability, and extensive test coverage. Promote best practices for a high‑traffic web or mobile environment. Work with Agile methodology. Identify areas for improvement in the codebase and promote these improvements through seamless integrations, documenting solutions and new workflows. Mentor junior team members when necessary and contribute to meaningful code reviews. Requirements 2+ years of experience in software development (primarily with Golang). Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing; test‑driven development is a plus. Proficiency with REST APIs, both in implementing and consuming interfaces. Familiarity with relational databases, CI/CD workflows, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with development tools and processes. Understanding of cloud services and scalable infrastructure. Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with an autonomous and motivated mindset.
