Job Title: Professional Services Inventory Quality Assurance EngineerJob Type: ContractLocation: RemoteRole OverviewOur client is seeking aProfessional Services Inventory Quality Assurance Engineerwho is passionate about solving complex challenges and ensuring the highest standards of software quality. The ideal candidate will work within a team of software experts and architects to deliver theClient Inventory and Service Provisioning Platform—covering path computation, feasibility checks, service fulfillment, provisioning, activation, and network and inventory management.This role requires ahands-on QA engineerwho thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in building reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions through rigorous testing and automation.Required Qualifications & Experience5+ yearsof overall experience testing commercial software, including3+ yearsin automation and manual testing ofnetwork inventory management, service fulfillment, and provisioning software.Strong knowledge ofQA methodologies, test design, and automation frameworks.Experience implementingmanual and automated end-to-end UI testingusingProtractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber.Experience implementingAPI testingusingSoap UI, Postman, or similar tools.Hands-on experience testing underLinux/Unixenvironments.Proficiency withdatabase querying (SQL)for debugging and data validation.Knowledge ofOSS Inventory and Automation domainsand telecom technologies such asEDI, EPL, EVPL, SD-WAN, Dark Fiber, OTT, DWDM/OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH, etc.Experience withvirtualization technologiessuch asDocker, Vagrant, Open Stack, VMware, KVM, libvirt.Working knowledge ofGit Lab, Git Lab CI/CD, JIRA, Test Rail, and Team City.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
