Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Lead Application Engineer: Digital Design - Synthesis & Implementation to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As a Lead Application Engineer: Digital Design - Synthesis & Implementation , you will collaborate with the Digital and Signoff Group, providing technical support, enabling customers to deploy our industry-leading technology, focusing on logical and physical implementation products, and deploying technology using tools such as Genus, Modus, Innovus, Conformal, or Tempus.

You will work with our customers to understand their needs, guide the best technologies and methodologies, and produce innovative solutions to address challenging problems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global teams on emerging technologies.
  • Work with customer engineers to verify problems, create solution tests, and deliver resolutions.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and differentiate Cadence's solutions.
  • Create support articles and application notes for customers and colleagues.
  • Lead junior engineers in technical support and projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Good understanding of RTL (Verilog or VHDL).
  • Experience with Synthesis, Place and Route, or signoff timing.
  • Knowledge of microelectronics or EDA, with IC front/backend flow experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in customer success, EDA, HDL, and Logic Design.
  • Scripting skills in TCL and Python.
  • Participation in IC Tapeouts.
  • Knowledge of Cadence digital tools is a plus.
