About the job Business Analyst / Consulting Enabler About the Company: The client is a software consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Modernization and Cloud Solutions. The client partners with organizations to modernize legacy systems, improve business continuity, and adopt scalable, cloud-native architectures. Their approach blends strategic insight with hands‑on technical execution, enabling organizations to transform critical systems while minimizing risk and maximizing long‑term value. About the Role: The client is seeking a Business Analyst / Consulting Enabler fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese to support high-impact engagements. The role involves managing the full analysis lifecycle across multiple projects, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, and ensuring clear alignment of requirements, particularly for enterprise modernization and disaster recovery initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese: The candidate must be fully fluent in both languages, both spoken and written. Linguistic Partnership: The BA will partner directly with our Technical Lead (who is proficient in Portuguese) to conduct documentation, lead workshops, and manage all client communication, ensuring absolute clarity and precision in translating complex technical and business requirements across teams. Stakeholder Elicitation: Lead and facilitate discovery workshops with both technical and business stakeholders to define the Current State (legacy systems) and Future State (modernized solutions). Requirements Documentation: Translate high-level strategic objectives into detailed, unambiguous Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for software development teams. Agile Management: Create and groom the project backlog, authoring high-quality User Stories with Acceptance Criteria for development in an Agile/Scrum environment. Modernization: Conduct in-depth process mapping and gap analysis to identify opportunities for cloud-native modernization and business process automation. Disaster Recovery (DR): Partner with the Technical Lead to capture business needs for resiliency, focusing on requirements for the Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) in the DR strategy. Technical Communication: Act as the essential bridge between the clients business owners and the company's technical team, ensuring that all proposed solutions meet documented business requirements. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Full professional fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written). Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in software, technology, or digital transformation projects. Strong background in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog management and user story development. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and technical concepts across diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with enterprise modernization, cloud transformation, or legacy system migration initiatives. Knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, including RTO and RPO concepts. Consulting background with direct client-facing responsibilities.
