About This Opportunity The Data Governance and Data Loss Prevention team is executing the strategic roadmap intended to protect all Sensitive data from unauthorized exfiltration. This strategy considers various types of Sensitive data (PCI, PII, PHI, Security secrets, company intellectual property). Likewise, the execution considers the protection of these types of data through each of the attack vectors or platforms of exposure such as email, endpoint browsers, AI applications, cloud resources, etc. This position will concentrate on planning and executing the implementation of controls to protect given Sensitive Data types, and in given platforms, such as ‘protection of unauthorized exfiltration of PII through email’, or ‘protection of unauthorized exfiltration of company intellectual property through endpoint browsers’. Responsibilities Gather, normalize, analyze, and communicate data to define baseline of who exfiltrates a given data type. Work with users to validate the accuracy of tool’s information in terms of the data type. Collaborate with team to fine tune tools for accuracy through programmatic research and testing. Collaborate to design plans to implement, by groups in iterative roll out, considering factors such as impact to Production and end user experience, metrics of success and velocity. Collaborate with team to lead implementations to completion. Other related activities to data protection and data loss prevention such as cross-collaboration and cross-training, mentorship, automation, continuous monitoring, etc. Qualifications Demonstrable hands‑on experience installing, setting up, and maintaining two of these three: Microsoft Purview DLP and Defender Zscaler ZIA (inline DLP and Endpoint DLP) Wiz Demonstrable hands‑on experience installing, setting up, and/or maintaining at least one of the tools/technology groups below: Proofpoint, McAfee DLP, Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Code42, Checkpoint. Varonis, Microsoft Information Protection MIP. BigID. Enterprise browsers (i.e.: Island), SIEMs, SOAR, or Python. Training, knowledge and/or experience (even if basic) with at least two of the practices/areas below: Server/system administration Database/system administration Coding/scripting API integration Project/Program Management, or incident response Communications, public speaking, advanced writing, and soft skills development.
