Role SummaryIn order to continue driving our global growth, we are seeking a top-tier Chief Legal Officer who can lead our company to new heights in the competitive gambling and crypto industries. VBET Brazil is seeking a strategic, business-oriented Chief Legal Officer to lead our legal function and support the company's growth and market expansion. Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise the CEO, Board, and executive team on corporate, commercial, and operational legal matters. Build, mentor, and scale an in-house legal team aligned with company growth and market expansion. Support business strategy by translating legal complexity into clear, business-oriented recommendations. Lead licensing and regulatory strategy for Brazil markets. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts. Oversee intellectual property protection, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks; manage disputes and litigation with external counsel. Build, mentor, and scale the in-house legal team; optimize legal operations and processes. Support corporate governance and entity structuring in Brazil and abroad. RequirementsLaw degree with active legal license; 10+ years post‑qualification experience, including senior leadership. Experience in iGaming, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors. Expertise in Brazilian corporate law, licensing, contracts, and IP. Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
