What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Define the technical direction and long-term roadmap for Marketplace and Search
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technical excellence in consumer-facing experiences
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability across engineering teams
  • Deliver critical user experiences that provide customer value quickly and reliably
  • Mentor and guide engineers by championing best practices and supporting their growth
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 10+ years of experience driving consumer experiences across the stack with proven leadership in critical projects
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing technical strategies for reliability and responsiveness
  • Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to make informed technical decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with programming languages like Kotlin or Python
  • Prior frontend (mobile, web) experience
  • A demonstrated ownership mindset that influences a culture of accountability
