As a Finance Assistant
- Invoicing, you'll work with a small team performing daily invoicing of all transactions, including tasks related to invoices for sales, purchases, transfers, assets, and remittances to suppliers. You'll perform the invoicing of companies considering the tax knowledge of each operation in accordance with current legislation, from the purchase order to the invoicing of the merchandise. In short, you'll follow a systemic view of the tax process throughout the entire process of issuing invoices and providing services.

**Responsibilities**:
Invoicing- Issue "Nota Fiscal" for all types of sales, transferences, returns, etc.- Issue "Nota Fiscal" of Importations.- Issue of "Nota Fiscal" in the government system when applicable.- Calculation of differential of taxes for invoices (ICMS) when applicable- Maintain an electronic invoicing system ("VERO") updated.- Control and prepare Retail invoicing reports.- Follow taxes regulations related to "Nota Fiscal" and suggest updates or changes.- Follow a systemic view of the tax process.
General support- Support Accounting Coordinator on payroll and benefits activities.- Support the Finance team on monthly closing activities.- Reconciliation of taxes reports provided by third-party fiscal management with accounting records.- Control of ICMS tax credit of fixed assets (CIAP).- Prepare ad-hoc reports regarding invoicing and others.- Keep records and organize company files, especially documents related to financial transactions.
Background/Qualifications- Completed Accounting Degree.- Good knowledge of accounting.- Excellent knowledge of sales taxes for trade and industrial companies (ICMS, IPI, PIS, and COFINS)- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting reconciliation and revenue invoicing.- Intermediate English language.- Basic Spanish language is a plus.- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and regular user of other MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)
