About the Role Lead AWS/Security Networking Engineer: design secure, scalable AWS networks, influence design decisions, and optimize infrastructure. What You Will Do Design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, etc.). Define and enforce security standards aligned with NIST and CIS benchmarks. Conduct network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans. Support incident response and troubleshooting across the network and security stack. Automate routine tasks using IaC and security‑as‑code best practices. Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness. Must Haves 3+ years of experience. AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty certification. Networking expertise: routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers. Knowledge of AWS networking constructs (VPC, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, etc.). Security expertise: NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks. Hands‑on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, etc.). Understanding of encryption, key management, and secure data flows. Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform). Familiarity with SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability scanning tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Upper‑intermediate English level. Nice to Haves Experience building basic REST APIs.
