Finance Assistant

Supports plant production and office operations by assisting the Finance Head with timely and accurate finance-related transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating requisitions for expenses under Finance monitoring.
• Validating and approving requisitions from other departments, ensuring correct activity type and GL accounts are used.
• Checking the accuracy of actual billing and ensuring vendors' computations are substantiated, such as validation of actual hours/days worked by agency hires and actual meal availment of employees.
• Reviewing contracts and discussing commercial terms.
• Collecting quantitative information required to develop a financial budget (e.g., Opex growth, manpower requirements).
• Ensuring proper recording of Capex and conducting an inventory of assets to validate physical existence.
• Managing petty cash transactions.
• Coordinating any need for adjustment in employee DTR.
• Orienting new hires on the proper use of timekeeping tools.
• Assisting in filing regulatory and statutory reports for the company.
• Providing inputs to the book closing process (e.g., accruals and cost center adjustments, if any).
• Performing other tasks related to the post as assigned for career development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the Manufacturing Industry or any related industry, but not required.
• Knowledge of SAP.
