Overview Site Reliability Engineer - Work from home NearSure, a Nortal company, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable, repeatable, and performant infrastructure with focus on public cloud (primarily AWS). You will collaborate with product and platform engineering teams to enable deployments into this infrastructure. What you will do Design, build, and deploy solutions that increase product reliability and organizational efficiency. Guide and mentor the creation of effective CI/CD pipelines. Provide DevSecOps mentorship and best practices. Work with product teams to capture requirements and support infrastructure needs. Improve reliability via root cause analyses, post-mortems, and preventive automation. Implement effective monitoring and security scanning. Assist support teams in resolving issues. Demonstrate and evangelize state-of-the-art technologies and workflows. Identify and implement automation to reduce manual support requirements. Provide emergency after-hours support if needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of software development experience. 5+ years of experience with AWS. 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS or ECS). 5+ years of experience with Docker. 3+ years of experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. 3+ years of experience with IaC. 2+ years of experience with CI/CD (Octopus Deploy and GitLab). 2+ years of experience with Git. Experience with log aggregation/APM tools (Datadog, Sumo Logic, Splunk, Grafana). Advanced English level required for working with US clients.
