Employer Industry: Healthcare Services Why consider this job opportunity: Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Collaborate with a supportive and knowledgeable team of professionals Engage in continuous education and training to enhance professional skills Contribute to improving clinical documentation practices and patient care Flexible work schedule with a focus on work-life balance Competitive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Monitor accuracy, data quality, and integrity of CDI staff performance Conduct audits on clinical documentation specialists to ensure compliance with guidelines Collaborate with the CDI Manager to develop ongoing education and feedback for CDI specialists Review and analyze denial claims to support prevention strategies Provide timely feedback and recommendations for performance improvement What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in nursing, health information management, or a related field Minimum of five years of experience in clinical documentation Licensed RN Advanced knowledge of clinical documentation integrity practices and regulations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Master's degree in a related field Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) Experience with 3M Encoder/Grouper and SMART software Familiarity with Medicare reimbursement systems and coding structures Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
