Financial and Planning Analyst

It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate job level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc. May also provide guidance or leadership to other Associates.- Provides dual roles of Financial Custodian and Co-Pilot for the business. As Custodian, Finance plays a critical role to create and maintain a controlled environment for the business to help maintain its financial integrity. As Co-Pilot, Finance plays an active role in helping set the strategic direction of the business as well as providing decision-making support to deliver financial commitments and improve overall business performance.**Financial Planning & Analysis**- Provide the management of systems and processes to produce high quality financial information and to derive critical insights. With these insights, gain alignment of the business unit's financial shape and targets with business/client stakeholders. Partner with the business to deliver the financial performance of the business by driving robust decisions.**Strategic Finance & Analytics**- Act as strategic, financial, and operational thought partner to cross-functional teams throughout the organization. Develop financial forecasts with value-added insight while identifying risks and opportunities. Analyze pricing strategies and build dynamic, detailed, and scalable financial and operational models driven by key financial and operational metrics.**What will be your key responsibilities?**:- Supports the Financial Planning team in delivering consolidated financial reports, and ensures that budget information is aligned between the 1Nav system and the HFM (internal management information systems)- Assists in the process of building the Overheads plan;- Supports the Financial Planning Manager during the closing period at all stages of the budget process;- Assists in creating an adequate internal control environment with a strong participation in the administrative expenses of matters and processes of capitalization of fixed assets. Diagnoses and makes recommendations on budget management and internal controls;- Acts on special projects as needed. Performs other tasks as may be required, including backup for technical aspects of other Finance jobs;- Assists in the preparation of forecasts to ensure the status of the business's financial position;- Search for solutions and/or explanations of issues through its interfaces with customers who own cost centers. Reviews all transactions, policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial results. Identifies savings opportunities within budgets;- Supports closing activities (periodic and annual) to ensure P&L integrity.
