2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from HCLTechSAP Basis ConsultantWe are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Basis Consultant to manage, maintain, and optimize SAP systems in a RISE with SAP landscape. This role demands hands-on expertise with cloud-hosted SAP environments, especially on platforms like SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of SAP applications and will work closely with SAP and Cloud providers.Responsibilities:
Work closely with Customer SME in customer office location.Perform administration, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems under the RISE with SAP framework.Manage technical operations for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, SAP Fiori, and other SAP products.Collaborate with SAP Cloud Operations teams, Cloud providers, and customer IT teams.Support migration projects to RISE with SAP (onboarding, system conversion, cloud migration activities).Manage user administration, transport management, system copies, backups, restores, patching, and upgrades.Configure and monitor SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, or Focused Run, as appropriate for cloud-centric monitoring.Implement SAP security best practices, including system hardening and user authorizations.Analyze system performance and propose optimizations.Participate in incident and problem management, root cause analysis, and proactive monitoring.Manage technical cutovers for SAP go-lives or upgrades in the RISE environment.Create and maintain technical documentation, including operational runbooks.Stay current with SAP innovations (RISE roadmap, SAP BTP services, hyperscaler offerings).Requirements:
