Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines using Databricks. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Databricks workflows into broader application architecture and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions. Responsibilities include implementing application features using AWS services and Python, ensuring code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices, and troubleshooting and optimizing performance across data and application layers. Maintaining documentation and contributing to agile ceremonies is also essential. The selected individual will possess expertise in Databricks, including project or engagement experience, proficient data engineering workflows, notebooks, and Spark-based processing within Databricks, as well as hands-on experience with EC2, Lambda, S3, and Python-based development. AWS Full Stack Development experience, particularly building and deploying applications on AWS, is highly valued. Familiarity with GitLab for version control and Jira for agile project tracking is necessary. Linguistic proficiency: English B2 Upper Intermediate, Spanish B2 Upper Intermediate. Databricks experience, including project or engagement. Data engineering workflows, notebooks, and Spark-based processing within Databricks. AWS Full Stack Development experience. EC2, Lambda, S3, and Python-based development. Building and deploying applications on AWS. GitLab for version control and Jira for agile project tracking.
