About the Role We are looking for a strategic and data-driven YouTube Strategist to help us grow our YouTube presence and reach the right audience with compelling, high-performing content. In this role, you will work closely with content creators, video editors, and the marketing team to define and implement a growth strategy that aligns with our brand goals. Responsibilities
  • Audit and analyze current YouTube channel performance, content, and audience behavior.
  • Develop and execute data-informed strategies to grow subscribers, views, and watch time.
  • Plan and manage the content calendar in alignment with audience insights and business goals.
  • Optimize titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, and playlists for SEO and click-through.
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with video editors and creative teams to ensure content quality and consistency.
  • Track and report on KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify growth opportunities such as collaborations, shorts, or paid campaigns.
  • Support monetization efforts through audience growth and strategic content planning.
Requirements
  • Proven experience growing YouTube channels (personal or professional).
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, algorithm, and analytics.
  • Ability to translate data into content and strategy decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, YouTube Studio, and Google Analytics.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital video trends.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience in content marketing, digital media, or social media strategy is a plus.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with influencers or content creators.
  • Basic video editing or scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of paid media (YouTube Ads).
  • Multilingual or experience with global audiences.
