The Role

This is a Senior Software Engineer position focused on developing core components of the platform, building key features in our web application, delivering product features end to end, and collaborating with architects to drive innovation. Savant offers a unique opportunity to build the product from the ground up and disrupt a massive industry.

What You'll Do

• Hands-on full stack development as part of a remote distributed team
  
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to industry standards & best practices
  
• Take end to end accountability to deliver key product features with a focus on quality, reliability, scalability and performance
  
• Build great user experiences that delight customers and drive user engagement
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to contribute to feature definitions and implementation
  
• Continuously improve your technical skills by working alongside experienced team members and participating in technical discussions
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with full stack SaaS development
  
• Experience with developing and deploying enterprise applications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  
• Experience with modern web UI frameworks (e.g. React, Redux, etc.)
  
• Experience working with UI mockups and Figma designs
  
• Experience with developing back-end APIs using Java
  
• Understanding of microservices architecture and common approaches (e.g. REST, GraphQL, etc.)
  
• Experience with common relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
  
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in a cloud environment
  
• Experience with owning features end to end from design and development through deployment and production support
  
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and solving complex problems
  
• Ownership of assigned tasks with attention to detail
  
• A proactive approach to challenges with a growth-oriented mindset
  
• Willingness to learn from and collaborate with other team members
  

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Spring ecosystem frameworks in Java
  
• Experience building data and analytics products
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Jest, JUnit, etc.)
  
• Experience with web-based visualization technologies (e.g. React Flow, D3, Highcharts, Nivo, etc.)
