We are now looking for a Vessel Manager to join our growing team in Rio de Janeiro/RJ.
**Position Summary**:
The Vessel Manager is responsible and accountable for the full management of nominated vessels within the ship team. The position will see takeover of Cargo Transfer Vessel to Brazil and gives opportunity to work with the leading ship management, crew management, and marine services providing company and provide services for international Ship Owner.
**Requirements**:
- A desire to drive continuous improvement in self and others.
- Analytical, problem solving, time management, project management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to respond positively to customers in an effective manner.
- Demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Preferably education and experience as a marine engineer.
- Knowledge of technical operations for the vessel types managed.
- Knowledge of propulsion plant onboard vessels managed.
- Knowledge of cargo containment system, cargo handling equipment and systems on board vessels managed.
- Good command of English and Portuguese.
