The project : We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst, specializing in Power BI, for this fully remote opportunity to work with a US-based client in the Bank Investments services industry.

Responsibilities :

  1. Design and implement effective data models using Power BI to support interactive reporting and data analysis.
  2. Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to ensure high performance and responsiveness of data retrieval.
  3. Create DAX expressions to define calculated columns and measures that streamline data processes and analysis.
  4. Leverage Microsoft DevOps tools for code repository management and team collaboration.
  5. Collaborate with clients across various business sectors, understanding their specific data needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  6. Gather and understand stakeholders' requirements.
  7. Communicate effectively with the database team to facilitate the creation of data cubes for analysis.
  8. Develop and present final reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.

Requirements :

  1. Knowledge of DAX programming for advanced data manipulation.
  2. Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, particularly related to cube usage.
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with teams and clients.

Preferred skills :

  1. Experience with Microsoft DevOps and other BI tools (such as Tableau or Looker).
  2. Previous experience in the financial sector.
