About the Job
As a Data Governance Analyst at Dadosfera, you will drive the development and enforcement of data governance policies, ensure compliance with data security standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high data quality. This role requires experience with Azure and a proactive approach to data governance and compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, LGPD).
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and data science teams to maintain data quality, establish access controls, and manage data catalogs.
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics, leading remediation processes and improvements as needed.
  • Lead metadata management initiatives, overseeing implementation and usage of cataloging solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data governance, offering guidance and training to stakeholders, while conducting data audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Document and maintain data governance policies, processes, and procedures comprehensively.
  • Utilize Azure tools and services to implement and optimize data governance solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
  • Proficiency in Azure and experience in data governance practices.
  • Advanced Spanish proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of data security standards and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data governance certification (e.g., CDMP or similar).
  • Experience implementing governance solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
