Network Perimeter Security Engineer

• Proven technical operational skills, and capability to create and validate well-structured answers and solutions in area of responsibility
• Troubleshoot and update security infrastructure supporting migrations and configurations
• Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Palo Alto, Fortinet & Cisco Firewalls, including network/resource access, software, or hardware problems
• Firewall policy (rule-base) optimization and housekeeping
• Prepare RCA, diagrams of network topologies and troubleshooting processes
• Maintain solid teamwork and interpersonal skills and communicate with customers, associates, vendors, and management
• Collaborate with other security teams
• Review and advise on identified security gaps for new infrastructure, applications, and services
• Provide documentation, training, and support for the transfer to operations of security solutions

• At least 5-6 years of supporting Firewalls, IPS and Proxies in a major global organization
• Proven technical operational skills and the ability to create and validate well-structured solutions in the area of responsibility
• Deep knowledge of: Firewalls (Palo Alto or Fortinet), Bluecoat, Cisco ACS/ISE
• Advanced working knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, HTTP, routing, firewalls, VLANs, and subnets
• Relevant concepts of ITIL and Project Management
• Industry accredited certification; willingness to continually acquire and maintain technical skills
• Experience assisting customers with firewall operational and troubleshooting tasks
• Strong expertise in managing and optimizing Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer
• Experience configuring Forti Manager for centralized policy and device management and using Forti Analyzer for log analysis, threat detection, and compliance reporting
• Experience assisting with account migration tasks to provide secure network connectivity
• Ability to implement and deliver basic code solutions to improve firewall capabilities
• Willingness to work with both Cloud and On-premises environments
