For more information, please visit: #LI-Hybrid About the team/role By joining 99’s Legal team as our new Senior Litigation Counsel, you will be responsible for preventing and resolving disputes of a series of matters, specially in Civil and Consumer Law. You will be required to work well in teams and in cross-functional projects and have a special interest and passion for technology. In this role, you'll be... Managing lawsuits portfolio (mainly civil and consumer litigation, but other matters are included), with close monitoring of special cases, defining strategies and enhancing thesis; Keeping track of provisions and contingencies; Providing legal support to internal teams (especially Customer Service and Safety teams), in order to improve processes and prevent litigation; Answering consultations from internal clients measuring risks and advising how to better proceed under different situations. Have bachelor’s degree in Law; Valid license to practice Law in Brazil (OAB); Strong litigation background, either in law firms or as in-house counsel; Deep knowledge of Civil and Consumer Law; Excel Intermediate knowledge; Have communication and organizational skills to work with multi-level and cross-functional projects and be able to define priorities; Fluent in English.
