Why this job matters • The purpose of the Network Planner role is to analyze capacity based on take-up trends, traffic flows, and demand/ad-hoc requests from customers. The planner then initiates capacity augments based on the analysis. What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities Capacity Management Act as a SPOC and interface with regional suppliers (LATAM) for ordering, installation and troubleshooting as required Capacity planning and management of global network platforms in LATAM, using multiple data sources from the live network and CFU to forecast port demand; provide detailed solutions for the network delivery team Analyze, produce and manage platform-specific capacity plans to meet forecast demand Address process issues associated with deployed platforms Key stakeholder consultation with Technical Delivery Managers responsible for implementing planning rules at device/network level Analyze bid requirements and provide technical answers Service delivery support – resolve service delivery issues across build functions May typically be involved in the build and configuration of network components of solutions, working from detailed design documentation and able to work independently on small projects Skills required for the job Mandatory fluent in communicating in English Mandatory experience in interacting and negotiating in situations involving multiple cultures Mandatory strong background in International Telecoms services and conventions Desirable knowledge of Global Telecoms regulatory environment Desirable financial awareness and ability to manage budgets Desirable experience with Operational System Stack and global network inventory systems and tools Desirable technical understanding of IP and SD-WAN functions and configurations Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Strategy/Planning and Engineering Industries IT Services and IT Consulting IT System Operations and Maintenance Telecommunications Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at BT Group by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
