Project Manager

Overview

Project Manager - Global Equities Operations Transformation. This role delivers, manages and governs the Equity Operations business and supports a range of projects from Core Platform development to market and regulatory initiatives. The focus is on achieving business efficiencies, growth and increased capacity for operational groups, with a primary emphasis on Global Clearing projects, Clearing regulations, Middle Office, F&O House Ops, Expiries & Deliveries, Settlement, Brokerage, Client On-boarding, Margining activity, Client Money, Regulatory Reporting, Static Data and Position Management. This role offers regional and global delivery and opportunities to expand skills across other lines of business.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as key point of contact for clearing changes in the US and EMEA markets, supporting initiatives across teams and products.
• Support the transformation of strategic plans into actionable programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and vision.
• Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making, contributing to the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration, coordinating efforts with individuals from different departments to achieve common project goals.
• Contribute to risk mitigation efforts, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Good English level (C1/C2)
• Proven skills in managing or leading projects or initiatives from idea to execution, typically demonstrated through 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to transform strategic plans into programs and projects, including initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes.
• Experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration and building diverse teams with varied experiences, skills, and backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Experience in Clearing Operations (Futures & Options), OTC Derivatives, or Market Operations is preferable
• Experience in digital solutions (Alteryx, UiPath, Tableau) is a plus
• Self-starter, pro-active, organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently
• Confident and assertive with the ability to push back when necessary
• Strong people skills, with ability to build relationships with all types of stakeholders, at all levels across all business area’s
