Structural Engineer Join Moffatt & Nichol as a Structural Engineer located in our Rio de Janeiro office. Our company is a global leader in waterfront infrastructure design and planning, and we are looking for a Civil Engineer with a strong structural background to contribute to innovative projects shaping coastlines worldwide. What You’ll Do Develop structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, and timber structures. Perform finite element modeling and dynamic/static analysis. Assist senior engineers with design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Prepare and check design calculations. Coordinate with drafting technicians and other disciplines. Participate in field inspections and rehab projects for waterfront structures. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (required). Master’s in Structural Engineering (preferred). 2–4 years of industry experience or relevant internship. Civil Engineer license (CREA-R). Familiarity with AutoCAD/MicroStation, SAP2000, and Revit.
