Embedded Software Engineer Job Description As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating software for automotive electronic control units (ECUs). Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of low-level drivers, middleware, and application layers in C / C++ (and / or AUTOSAR environments). You will also ensure compliance with automotive software development standards such as MISRA C, and ASPICE. Qualifications Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in Automotive ECU development and embedded software engineering, covering complete V-model lifecycle. Deep technical expertise in CAN, UDS, Diagnostics, and automotive communication protocols. Expertise in Embedded C / C++, CAPL, RTOS, Device Drivers, MCAL. Understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery using Jenkins, and version control systems like Git and SVN. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills to work closely with hardware and systems teams. Ability to drive technical excellence across cross-functional teams.
