Senior Python Developer - Remote Work BairesDev – We lead technology projects for over 15 years, delivering solutions to giants like Google and innovative startups. We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with 7+ years of experience to build scalable, event‑driven backend systems in a fast‑paced startup healthcare environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django). Design and implement event‑driven systems and microservice‑based architectures. Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy and manage backend applications efficiently. Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline deployment processes. Process and analyze large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain high standards for code quality and automation. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions. Contribute to system scalability and architecture decisions, ensuring long‑term maintainability. Must‑Have Skills 7+ years of backend software development experience with Python. Strong expertise in FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Advanced level of English. Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong understanding of Docker and containerized environments. Hands‑on experience with event‑driven systems and microservice architecture. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Nice‑to‑Have Skills (Trainable) Familiarity with healthcare technologies (Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, Glucose Monitors). Strong communication skills for effective cross‑team collaboration. Experience managing, processing, and analyzing large datasets. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
