About the role We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support monitoring existing reports, query our data warehouse (bigquery) for ad hoc requests, and write python code to get data out of API endpoints. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in lead generation, especially in the legal vertical. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced environment and play a key role in expanding our reach and impact in the mass tort industry. Location Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time) What you’ll do Build and update dashboards Understand semantic layer (LookML, Cube) Monitor dashboards to find outliers and inconsistencies Work closely with other departments to investigate sources of errors. Then fix the problem or create a summary of the issue and work with our data engineer to resolve it. Format reporting in Excel and merge data from multiple datasets with VLOOKUP and other advanced Excel functions. Write ad‑hoc SQL multi‑table join queries to get data We use MySQL and BigQuery but experience with any SQL RDBMS works Write clean and composable SQL code Knowledge of CTE and window functions is required Write Python code to pull data from REST APIs Ongoing Activities Give suggestions on ways to increase revenue or decrease costs from data. Write documentation on how our data process works and errors we encounter.
