Job Title: AWS Data Engineer Key Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using AWS API Gateway. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Fargate, S3, Glue, and CloudWatch. Strong knowledge of PySpark, including partitioning, joins, and optimization, is also essential. Design and Develop APIs: Use AWS API Gateway to design and develop scalable APIs that meet business requirements. Data Ingestion and Processing: Implement data ingestion pipelines using Lambda or Fargate, and develop processing pipelines in PySpark (AWS Glue or EMR). Data Management: Manage data in S3 and Glue Data Catalog, ensuring data quality and integrity. Optimization and Cost Savings: Optimize pipeline costs and performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: AWS Experience: Proven experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate, S3, Glue, and CloudWatch. PySpark Expertise: Strong knowledge of PySpark, including partitioning, joins, and optimization. Glue Data Catalog and Athena: Experience with Glue Data Catalog and querying via Athena. REST API Integration: Experience with integration and manipulation of data in REST APIs. Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Version Control and CI/CD: Good practices in version control (Git) and CI/CD.
