In the Data team, we turn information into intelligence. We model, organize, and analyze data to generate strategic insights that drive decision-making across EBANX. We’re naturally curious and guided by evidence. As an AI Engineer Specialist , your mission will be to own the design and deployment of scalable AI systems in production. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end design and deployment of AI systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance; Develop and optimize AI models, focusing on robustness, explainability, and efficiency; Build and maintain production-grade infrastructure for AI applications, including APIs, data pipelines, and services; Implement and oversee continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for AI model deployment and updates; Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders across teams to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions; Ensure AI systems comply with industry best practices regarding security, privacy, and ethical standards; Troubleshoot production issues related to AI systems, performing rigorous testing and validation; Mentor team members on best practices in AI engineering, model deployment, and system integration. Must-haves to shine in this role Hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or closely related roles; Proven expertise in developing impactful products leveraging advanced AI services, such as OpenAI's GPT, Google's Gemini, and AWS Bedrock; Strong programming skills in Python, with demonstrated experience in developing high-quality, maintainable code; Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including deploying AI services and managing cloud resources; Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes); Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins); Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data pipeline architectures; Experience with monitoring and logging solutions for AI systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog); Awareness of security standards and compliance requirements relevant to AI and data-driven systems. Bonus points if you have Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or related industries; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; EBANX offers WAVES Program: Annual bonuses based on the company’s performance.
